Independent WiFi Quality Certification

Independent WiFi Quality Certification for Hotels, Venues and Guest Networks

Know your WiFi. Don’t guess it.

WiFiCert™ helps hotels, hospitality venues, business spaces and guest networks verify real WiFi quality through structured assessment, evidence-based reporting, transparent certification levels and a public verification registry.

Independent framework · Public registry · Evidence-based certification

Why WiFiCert™ matters

  • Guest reviews reflect perception — not technical verification.
  • Third-party claims can create uncertainty for property owners.
  • WiFiCert provides independent verification based on structured evidence.
  • Each certificate can be checked through a public record and digital badge.

Why WiFiCert™ has real business value

WiFiCert™ does not bring you more visitors.

It helps you convert the ones you already have.

When guests compare similar properties, small signals of trust can make the difference.

Wi-Fi is consistently one of the most complained-about aspects in guest reviews.

Independent clarity for property owners

In many venues, WiFi performance is judged through guest complaints, online reviews or third-party assurances. That leaves the property owner with uncertainty. WiFiCert™ is designed to provide a clearer, more objective basis for understanding and presenting WiFi quality.

Know what is really being delivered

WiFiCert helps distinguish between assumptions, perceptions and independently verified performance.

Reduce uncertainty

Independent verification can help property owners assess WiFi quality more confidently, rather than relying only on opinions or supplier representations.

Communicate trust publicly

Certified venues can present a public verification record designed to show certification level, validity period and certificate ID.

Why guest feedback alone is not enough

Guest opinions matter — but they do not provide a technical assessment of WiFi quality. A low score may indicate a real problem, but it does not explain where the issue lies, how serious it is, or whether performance has been independently verified.

What guest reviews can tell you

  • Whether visitors felt the WiFi was good or disappointing
  • Whether poor connectivity affected the overall experience
  • Whether the venue may already have a perception problem

What WiFiCert can add

  • Structured evidence rather than impressions alone
  • A clearer basis for technical review and certification
  • A public trust signal linked to a verification record

For the first time, independently verify your WiFi performance

WiFiCert™ is not just a badge. It is a framework intended to help venue owners make better-informed decisions about WiFi quality, using structured assessment criteria instead of guesswork.

Clarity

Understand whether WiFi quality is aligned with certification requirements and user expectations.

Control

Gain a stronger basis for reviewing network quality and discussing performance with providers or partners.

Credibility

Show guests and partners that WiFi quality has been assessed through an independent, structured framework.

WiFiCert Network

Independent endpoint infrastructure for real-world Internet testing

Traditional speed tests often measure performance toward nearby privileged servers hosted inside highly optimized carrier ecosystems.

WiFiCert uses independent web-based infrastructure endpoints designed to better reflect real-world Internet conditions, routing behaviour and multi-network performance.

The WiFiCert Network is a technical infrastructure layer used to support real-world Internet route analysis. It is not a certification test and does not determine whether a venue qualifies for WiFiCert certification.

How WiFi Certification Works

The public process is designed to remain clear and simple, while the detailed technical methodology sits behind the certification framework.

1. Application

The venue or partner submits the site and operational details required for assessment.

2. Technical Audit

An auditor or authorised partner carries out the required checks and evidence collection process.

3. Review & Publication

The assessment is reviewed, a certification level is assigned and the public verification record is published.

Public WiFi Certification Registry

Each digital badge links to a publicly accessible certificate record, allowing visitors to verify status, level and validity.

WiFi certification explained

What is WiFi Certification?

WiFi certification is the process of assessing whether a venue’s wireless network can deliver a reliable, measurable and verifiable experience for guests, visitors, staff or customers. Unlike a simple internet speed test, WiFi certification looks at the quality of the actual user experience across the venue.

A guest may run a speed test from one location and see a good result, while another guest may experience weak signal, high latency, unstable video calls or poor coverage in a different room, floor or outdoor area. For hotels, serviced apartments, offices, hospitality venues and public spaces, this difference matters.

WiFiCert™ provides an independent WiFi quality certification framework based on structured assessment evidence, performance indicators and public certificate verification. The goal is to help venues move beyond assumptions and show that WiFi quality has been reviewed through a clear, evidence-based process.

More than a speed test

WiFiCert considers real-world WiFi quality, including performance, responsiveness, stability, coverage expectations and the consistency of the user experience.

Designed for guest-facing venues

The framework is especially relevant for hotels, B&Bs, serviced apartments, coworking spaces, hospitality venues and other locations where WiFi quality affects trust, reviews and customer satisfaction.

Publicly verifiable

Certified venues can be linked to a public WiFiCert certificate record, allowing guests, partners and stakeholders to verify the certification level and status.

WiFi quality deserves more than guesswork

WiFiCert™ is designed to help create a clearer, more credible and more transparent model for presenting real-world WiFi quality in hospitality, business and public environments.
